Kathmandu: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced a reduction in the prices of petroleum products. As per the NOC, the price of petrol has been decreased by Rs 3 per litre, while the prices of diesel and kerosene have been reduced by Rs 1 per litre.
The decision was made during a meeting of the NOC Board of Directors and will take effect from midnight tonight.
Following the price reduction, the cost of petrol per litre is set as follows:
Rs 162.5 in Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalbari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birgunj.
Rs 164 in Surkhet and Dang.
Rs 165 in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal.
Similarly, the prices for diesel and kerosene per litre are:
Rs 149.5 in Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalbari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birgunj.
Rs 151 in Surkhet and Dang.
Rs 152 in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal.
This price adjustment aims to provide some relief to consumers amidst fluctuating global fuel prices.
